Community Bible Study
We love seeing what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word. We have Bible studies for adult women in all stages of life, babysitting for newborns, and classes for toddlers and teens. Together we explore the Bible and what it tells us about the God who has woven His story through history and is present with us now. Our groups meet for 30 weeks, on Wednesdays, from September to May.
2025-2026 Study: The Book of Psalms (September 17, 2025 – May 20, 2026) REGISTER NOW
The book of Psalms has served as the hymnbook and prayerbook of God’s people from ancient times and on into the present. Known as the Psalter, this collection of Holy Spirit-inspired poetry captures the highs and lows of life. The Psalms are powerful prayers, guiding us into honest communication with God. They validate our doubts, passions, fears, and longings and show us how to draw near to God in our struggles. This Bible study organizes the Psalms thematically, making it easier to grasp their main ideas and apply them to your own conversations with God.

· Morning Online: (Palos Verdes CA Adult Ministry 1) 11 am - 12pm
· Evening Online: (Palos Verdes CA Adult Ministry 2) 7pm - 8pm
· Español Presencial: (con ministerio de niños) 10:30am - 12:30pm
· Español en Línea Nocturno: (Palos Verdes CA Ethnos 1) 7pm – 8pm
Registration Fees: $35 adult; $10 per child/student; please contact Coordinator at reyna.ballinger@verizon.net to inquire about our available scholarships or for further information.

Next Gen Ministry
We welcome children and youth to experience the love of Jesus through in-depth Bible study in our CBS Next Gen Ministry, where we come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God's truths in their lives.
· Our Ministry has groups for infants through high school age students of our In-Person participants
· Elementary, middle school, and high school curricula parallel the women's curriculum

Para 2025-2026 estudiaremos el libro de los Salmos (17 de septiembre de 2025 – 20 de mayo de 2026). Inscripciones abiertas
El libro de los Salmos ha servido como himnario y libro de oración del pueblo de Dios desde la antigüedad hasta la actualidad. Conocido como el Salterio, esta colección de poesía inspirada por el Espíritu Santo captura los altibajos de la vida. Los Salmos son oraciones poderosas que nos guían a una comunicación sincera con Dios. Validan nuestras dudas, pasiones, miedos y anhelos, y nos muestran cómo acercarnos a Dios en nuestras luchas. Este estudio bíblico organiza los Salmos temáticamente, lo que facilita la comprensión de sus ideas principales y su aplicación en nuestras propias conversaciones con Dios.
